AMO the Pink Cafe in El Paso

Visiting downtown El Paso and several members of my group had been wanting to go here. I was definitely out of my element as this place is true to the name Pink Cafe. The place is pink inside and out. There were many families there with young girls and it they seemed to be having a great time. There is limited seating and if it's busy you might be waiting awhile. They have bakery items and candy you can purchase besides the food. I had the pink pancakes because why not, and a Nutella latte. The pancakes were good, not anything special but hit the spot. The latte was good just would have liked it to be be bigger. Others in my party had a caprese sandwich which they said was good. I would definitely try it if I ever go back.

Where to begin in this huge disappointment of restaurant. The food presentation is alright, the cofre was the only “cute” thing. Very expensive (a strawberry lemonade with no alcohol was literally $8!!) The taste of everything was mediocre as well. Also, everything on the walls and tables and ceilings was CRUSTY, it was old, dingy and just gross. Everyone is gonna rate it 10/10 because El Paso is boring as hell and there’s nothing to do lmao. But I’m telling you it’s a 2/10 at best.

Finally got the chance to try Amo the Pink Cafe on July 1st to celebrate my daughter’s sweet 16th! We arrived a bit after 2:00 so for us it was still lunch. Once you walk in we were all star struck by all of the beautiful decorations and the colors of PINK everywhere! We were definitely dressed for the occasion all pretty in pink. (party of 4) Anyways we were seated right away by the hostess also to which she asked if anyone had any allergies? No other restaurants at least where I have been, have ever asked that before. Thought that was very considerate. The menu has a variety of delicious options more of a brunch place for sure. We decided to order different plates to try a bit more variation since it being our first time. The chicken Alfredo plate was the least of our favorite. It would have to be the only thing that I would not recommend. The taste was not very pleasant, think it was the sauce itself . The flaming hot Cheeto burger w/ chips, the Tuna Croissant w/chips and chipotle sauce, the chicken green pozole which was not spicy were super delicious! ​If you haven’t been to Amo Café yet, you’re missing out! ​Huge shoutout to Bri for being so sweet and helpful. I treated myself to the heart shaped strawberry waffles that came with fresh strawberries and bananas, avocado toast with salmon, and those loaded chicken nachos (pro tip: they’re happy to leave off the bacon if you don’t eat pork like me!). ​The Amo Café Signature Latte is an absolute must-try. And whatever you do, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. The cupcakes with fresh cream cheese frosting are easily bigger than the pictures. Highly recommend this place just for the vibes. You won't regret it.

This place is heaven!! Super cute! Super friendly service very accommodating! Highly recommend!! The atmosphere is immaculate! ♥️ The strawberry cupcake was delicious! I need the recipe for that frosting 🧁 the Pink Flamingo dirty soda was 🤌🏼this is a regular stop in El Paso from now on
